Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support a safe, comfortable, and positive home environment
- Prepare meals and assist with light meal planning
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Provide companionship and encourage social engagement
- Offer medication reminders in accordance with care plans
- Use mobility equipment safely when trained
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
Qualifications
- Experience in caregiving, customer service, education, or human services is helpful but not required (paid training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide physical assistance when needed (e.g., transfers, mobility support)
- Dependable, compassionate, and attentive to others’ needs
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation with current auto insurance
